Choirs for Children & Youth

Vocal Choirs

St. Nicholas Choir

Wednesdays | 5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Grades K-2. Our choir for younger children will focus on vocal development through singing hymns, anthems and other songs. Handbells and other instruments may be used in teaching music reading skills. They sing occasionally throughout the year for the 10:30 service, and sometimes with the St. Andrew Choir. Directed by Andrea Spraggins.

St. Andrew Choir

Mondays + Wednesdays | 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (choose one or both days)

Grades 3-12. Directed by Paul Thomas. Choristers enjoy the challenging and rewarding experience of preparing music for worship from the Anglican choral repertoire. They receive specialized training in vocal technique, music literacy, and the Church’s worship through the Royal School of Church Music’s training plan. Members have the opportunity to participate in local and regional chorister festivals as well as summer RSCM courses. Scholarships and small stipends are offered, based on steadfast attendance and advancement through the RSCM Voice for Life levels.
Note: Singers in 9th-12th grades may be placed in the St. Andrew Choir or the Senior Choir.
