FRIDAY, JUNE 9 – SUNDAY, JUNE 11, 2017
Enjoy a weekend of fun, fellowship, and worship for all ages during our parish retreat at Kanuga Camp and Conference Center! Kanuga is located outside of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and it is a beautiful place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with God and others.
Our worship and program leader for the weekend will be Fran McKendree. An inspiring and innovative musician, Fran has been traveling the country since 1984 performing concerts, mentoring young people, and designing and coordinating retreats and conferences. Learn more about Fran, and listen to some of his music at www.franmckendree.com.
The weekend will begin with dinner on Friday night, followed by a campfire. There will be programming for children, youth, and adults on Saturday morning, and plenty of time for recreation on Saturday afternoon. During free time, you can take advantage of all that Kanuga has to offer: a beautiful lake for swimming, boating, and fishing; extensive hiking trails; a labyrinth and meditation garden; and plenty of rocking chairs on the porch. Following dinner on Saturday night, there will be additional opportunities for fellowship. The weekend will conclude with breakfast and worship on Sunday morning.
Space is limited, so please register early! Online registration is preferred. If you are unable to register online, please use the registration cards available at the Church, and return with payment to the Church Office.
We hope you will join us for a wonderful retreat — the first of what we expect will become a cherished tradition at St. Paul’s!
