FOR ALL THE SAINTS
SUMMER SUNDAYS AT 9:15 A.M.
Our Summer Special Eucharist is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Sunday worship upstairs in the Yo Room ― with a more relaxed setting, casual dress, special music, and a brief homily. It is also a time for meaningful formation and fellowship ― especially for the younger families of St. Paul’s.
Our theme for our Summer Special Eucharist this year is “For All the Saints” — we will celebrate a different saint each week! One way to define a saint might be that the saints are those ordinary people who take the good news of Jesus of Nazareth and do the work of translation so that the people in their world can come to see and know and love the Lord. Through their lives, they translate the story of Jesus. All Christians are called to be saints, to carry on the work of sharing Jesus through the power of Pentecost. We do this by translating the good news of Jesus to our friends and neighbors. One of the ways we can begin to understand that call is by getting to know the lives and work of the saints who have gone before us.
We hope that you will join us for this informal Eucharist that meets each Sunday of the summer — from June 18 through August 27 — at 9:15 a.m. in the Yo Room.
